This is one of my favorite parts of healbot! You simply go Options> Cure> Custom (near the top)> Drop down menu and click Cata Raid> Type in name of debuff you would like to track (IE Engulfing Darkness from Heroic Maloriak)> Pick a custom color > Save

Voila!

im a holy pally and use all of these except vuhdo, grid and decursive.

healbot is much faster imo to dispell anything, and you also dont lose hps having to click on decursive.
only thing i havent figured out and im not even sure if it possible to do, is to track raid debuffs on tanks like stacks from halfus.

I have recently discovered your blog and added it to my reader :) I moved to a more hardcore guild for a while and was practically laughed at for having SoR in my spec. I took it out, but have not felt comfortable since then. I die. I try very hard not to, but sometimes I do. It’s lovely to be able to carry on for a minute being helpful, even though I am dead and I have saved a group before now when dead. Reading your post has prompted me to ask my new guild if they are OK with me putting it back in my spec while we try new heroic bosses just did Halfus, going for Chimaeron next (which was how I found you) :)

I agree with you 100%! There have been a couple of occasions (Ascendent Council is the first that comes to mind) where me suiciding and turning into the infinite mana angel is what caused us to get the kill. There have been multiple times where I’m on vent and say, “Let me die,” just so I can keep going at the very end of a fight.

Wrong. The attack result (Glance/Miss/Dodge/Block/Parry/Crit/Hit) is determined from a single roll, and in theory you can end up ina sitaution where you can no longer do a regular hit, only crit. Hit is the first result to get moved away from the results table.

Nice guide. For trinkets, I’d include Tia’s Grace, from Heroic Lost City of Tol’vir. Mastery for the main stat, and a stacking agi secondary make this one of the best pre-raid trinks for bear tanking imo.

Just wondering, did you take the newest Darkmoon Cards into account? I’m building the Earthquake and Hurricane deck for my druid. Just wanted to know if I’m on the right track with those.
